Description:

Buckeye Hills Regional Park encompasses nearly 4,500 acres of land, offering visitors a number of ways to experience the beauty and strangeness of the Sonoran Desert. There are hiking and bicycling opportunities, though few developed trails have been carved in the area, offering the chance for adventurous visitors to carve their own path through the desert. It is located about 22 miles north of Gila Bend, just off the highway a few miles northwest of the corner of the land that makes up the Sonoran Desert National Monument.
